Since I'll be having a child halfway through my spring semester, I was thinking of putting my classes off until summer or fall semester. I really don't want to put it off so I'm looking through the course catalog to put together a mix of hybrid and online courses I can take so that I won't have to take a break in between. Besides, I'll need to do something to keep my sanity and class is good for that.
I've pretty much covered all of my core classes but a few, so I'm looking at electives and courses that I think would be fun and/or go well towards my Psychology degree(minoring in Business). Philosophy and Spanish II are high on the list of things I want to do and Intro into Business would go along well with what I want to transfer into.
The last three semesters I've taken have been mostly core classes so it'd be great to explore a bit next semester and try different subjects. I'm pretty excited.

What about managing money, taxes, business loans, saving for a 401-K. Not sure if they have classes that help you out with these but, it is always helpful to have or know them just in case.

I might as well come out with it. I'm terrible with big news and how to say things but I cant keep life's biggest milestones a secret. I've been married to my husband for a year and a half and with him for 3 years... and I'm excited to say we are expecting our first child. I never thought I'd have a kid or wanted one but that all changed when I met him. I'm so happy I'll be having a child with my best friend and love of my life and he is ecstatic as well. We couldnt be happier :)

I'm thankful for so many things. Such as Community Grocery Stores. I'd hate to have to hunt my own food. LOL!

I'm Thankful I do not have to eat the traditional thanksgiving meal, I am having homemade yummy fajitas.

I'm also thankful I don't live in a socialist country

I'm thankful for my husband, family, friends, all this amazing food we're going to eat, my health, education, job, house/food/running water, nature, animals, spirituality, books and so much more

I'm not doing as well as a perfect version of myself would be, but I think I'm doing pretty well in life.
There's a reason I stay away from distant family and it's because they criticize everybody's lives except for their own. And now my mother in law and hubby's side of the family is claiming I lied about something I'd never lie about and wondering why I'm smoking when I said I'd quit. Why does it matter? I quit drinking and everything else and maybe I'm not at that point where I mastered being smoke free. But I work full time and go to school to ensure I'll have a good future. Hubby and I are independent. We aren't basement dwellers that ask for free stuff and we'd starve before we asked for money if money was tight.
I stay out of others' lives so why is it so hard to stay out of mine? I'm really not that interesting

Some people love being judge and jury.
Trying to kick the smoking habit isn't easy.

You have came a long way, be proud of your accomplishments and never worry what other's say.

People sticking their long noses in someone's business goes back centuries.
When people try to avoid their own problems, it's easy to criticize others.
Nikki maybe they are jealous that you have accomplished so much for yourself.

I for one, am VERY proud of what you have accomplished, despite all the hurdles you have had to go through. You have strength that I wish I had sometimes. I admire your willingness to keep trying, and to see positive, even tho at the time, there was a lot of negative energy. We have nearly everything moved into our new house/apartment. I love this place and I think things will be better here. I can't wait to start living here Tuesday to start another new chapter in our lives.

Everything is starting to come together and the waiting/work has been well worth it.
